Overview
My name is Joey Lavallee and I have been playing guitar and singing for the past 30 years. I studied guitar at Musician's Institute in Hollywood California in 1990.
I have played as a soloist, as part of a duo and trio and in many different bands over the years, ranging in styles from blues, country, variety, and dance bands, but my main occupation has been that of a solo performer.
My main love is of the sixties and seventies music, ranging anywhere from Stevie Wonder to Bob Marley to blues and Motown and anything in-between.
I've performed extensively on the west coast of Florida as well North and South Carolina and in Austin, Texas. I am currently residing and performing in Austin.

Joey has a very laid back and relaxed style. He has such a great voice! He also had a great selection of songs for our Memorial Day Event at The Meadows Community in Sarasota. We had a lot of great feedback from the community about his performance. We will definitely be using Joey in the near future for another event!
