I am what you call a "ONE MAN BAND" who play latin music for any social event. Music from Puerto Rico, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Colombia, and USA Latin. I will provide music entertainment during from the time you want me to start, to the end we agree to end the entertainment. Example; If I this is a four hour service from 8pm to 12am, I will start exactly at 8pm for 1 hour or 1.5 hours. Then I will take a 15 to 30 break depending the length of the contract. In the mid time, I will set the computerize Dj during my break with music of your choice. Then I go back and play for another hour or i.5 hours. Then I will take my last break of 15-30 minutes and set the computerize Dj during my break. Then, I will play until the end of the contract at 12pm. If you decide you want me to play for another hour, you will have to pay a $80.00 on front in cash, and I will play the extra hour and that will conclude the end of the contract. I only play gigs with a minimum of two hour, no less. I charge $80.00 per hour.
Born in New York, grew up in Puerto Rico and Texas. I studied music in Puerto Rico from Elementary school to High School. Main instruments, vocal, guitar, piano and the Puerto Rican Cuatro (a 5 double string instrument). I also studied music at Miami Dade Community College, San Antonio College, St, Phillip's College, and I have earned a BA in Spanish and Music at The University of the Incarnate World. I have more than 30 years experience playing and singing music for different events and style of music. From classical, to popular, From a choir to a jazz band. And proffesionaly for more than 20 years playing for different orquestras and bands in San Antonio, Texas. Artist that I play with: El Cano Estremera, Pete El Conde Rodriguez, Lalo Rodriguez, Charlie Palmieri, Paquito Acosta, Gianko, Tito Puente jr, Luigi Texidor, Marvin Santiago, Hector Tricoche, Anthony Cruz (At LUz A. Calderon High School in Puerto rico), Ronnie Garza, Ommi Cardona, and many more....
I will need an space of 15 feet by 15 feet rectangle or square. Outlets should be provide to connect Sound system, Electronic instrument like a keyboard, computer, and lights if it is require. If it is possible, a few bottle of water will be good to provide during my performance. No one but with the exception of the sound engineer and my self can be in stage. Unless someone need to do a cheer or an announcement where I will provide a microphone. Any body else should not be around my instruments and sound system. I place to get change cloth and cool of will be great if you have it available.
