I play music from a wide variety of genres and I can play just about anything from Classical Bach to Rocking Metallica. Upon timely requests, I am more than willing to perform almost any piece one may like. I am also known for my ability to utilize technology such as amps and effect pedals. On top of performances, I also offer lessons for beginning to intermediate musicians in music theory and performance, and I also arrange music and write original compositions.
Joe’l is a professional, well dressed and punctual! Excellent musician! Everyone enjoyed his music!
Response from Joe'L & Mari'Gale:
Thank you so much for the review! I had a great time. The atmosphere was so fitting and it was an absolute pleasure to be able to work with you and entertain your guests.
Joe'l was professional, prepared and friendly. It was great working with Joe'l!
Joe'L was absolutely amazing to work with!! He is so very musically talented and knowledgeable. Joe'L worked with us based on our budget and even met us at a local park where he played several pieces for us to choose from. He was able to play anything I requested for my big day. He exceeded our expectations. Though he made my guests cry (wink), he alone, truly made my wedding ceremony a dream come true. He plays beautifully and with such enthusiasm. I humbly recommend Joe'l for any event!!

Born on January 20th 1997, in Bronx NY I was raised by a single father doing his very best make it on his own. I spent my earlier years traveling with my father to various places, going back and forth between different states until eventually settling down in Jacksonville, NC to care for my late grandfather. My father was once a body guard and at one point, a tour guide. Consequently, I had the opportunity to meet various musical artist, and thanks to our travels, I have been exposed to all sorts of musical culture.
Ever since my years as a young child, perhaps since kindergarten, I have always been interested in music. Some of my lasting music related memories as a child were of me improvising simple melodies on my father's digital piano as he, along with my grandparents, watched . Be it a recorder, keyboard, or drums, anything that made a musical sound I just had to have my hands on it. Perhaps the highlight of my day as an elementary school student was music class.
I never quite realized it until recently, but now when I reflect on how my life has been so far, it seems to me that I was destined to become a musician. It is surprising to me indeed because my original dream as a young child was to become a robot scientist. Music at the time was more of a hobby, something that was on the on the back burner, when in reality, it has been a profound constant in my life. With the majority of my relatives having some sort of musical ability, one could say that music is in my blood.
After starting on the violin in the sixth grade, I later switch to the cello the next school year. Since then, the cello has been my number one instrument. Over the years my love for music has been constantly growing and growing. My main goal in life is to successfully share the love of music with as many people as possible and expand their minds to new experiences.
One may find when interacting with me that while professional, I exhume a friendly and intellectual personality. :)
Additional Booking Notes
Almost anywhere with enough room for my instrument and small setup is suitable. If it is outdoors, please be aware of weather conditions as cellos are very fragile instruments. Lighting and sound are usually of no real issue for I come prepared with my own stand light and medium-sized amplifier. For best sound, I would personally suggest areas with low external noise and good reverberation and acoustic treatment/design.
