Overview

I am an experienced live performer that adds ambiance to any occasion--private and corporate events, weddings, listening concerts, and everything in between. I have been privileged for over 20 years to participate as a musician in the milestones of others, both big and small: weddings, family reunions, professional events--even good 'ole backyard shindigs--and I'd be delighted to accompany your next one.

Set the vibe!

Joe was always a welcome addition to our Saturday love music line up and truly helped change the vibe for Saturdays. We were slower and adding him helped drive people to stay longer and more importantly new guests in. He also took on calendar management for me after learning the music style we wanted and was always so professional. Can't wait to be able to have him play again.

Hired as: Singer/Songwriter, Singing Guitarist

What to expect

If you are looking for just the right musical touch for your next event, I'm your man. I specialize in creating a warm atmosphere without getting in the way of the festivities (unless you'd like me to turn it up to 11, of course!). I always arrive with ample time to set-up and meet with either you or the coordinator(s). I cater my song selection based on the specific needs of your event, and I can scale the sound equipment* and number of persons (solo, duo, trio, full band) accordingly. My goal is to make sure you have the finest musical accompaniment to pair with your event!

*I have a battery-powered rig specifically for remote set-ups! This is super handy for wedding ceremonies.

About

A velvet voice, a tasteful touch, and a delicate delivery--meet the timeless troubadour, Joe Dillstrom.
A thoroughly refined singer-songwriter whose repertoire spans the roaring 20's through the sultry 70's, Joe's artistry is informed by the greats of those eras--Nat King Cole, Chet Baker, Frank Sinatra, Hank Williams, Chuck Berry, Simon & Garfunkel, and early Tom Waits, among others
With a focus on jazz standards and romantic songs, Joe is a perfect fit for weddings and settings that call for a seasoned musical sensibility.
Style, soul, softness, and sincerity--to put it simply, there's no one else quite like Joe.

Additional booking notes

Electricity!
(For remote locations, I have an entirely battery powered set-up as well).
