Solo Acoustic Guitarist heavily influenced by Chet Atkins, Leo Kotke and Tommy Emmanual performing standards and popular hits in a unique Piedmont style of guitar. Lively and entertaining but not overbearing…..great for parties, events, festivals, etc. Christmas Holiday music…..

August 7, 2024We hired Joe for our late afternoon/cocktail hour work event. We were looking for instrumental guitar music so that our team and guests (including clients and potential clients) could have conversations with some nice tunes in the background. Joe most definitely delivered a beautiful music experience for us and I would hire him again in a heartbeat! Communicative, extremely courteous, and punctual. Thank you Joe!

Solid professional with many years experience. My instrumental music appeals to a wide age range, is lively (even danceable) yet doesn’t compete with conversation.
Joe Capo is based in Atlanta Georgia and has been playing guitar since the age of 11. He has performed throughout the East Coast as a solo artist and with various local, regional and national acts.
As a solo acoustic guitarist, his style has been labeled as “acoustic parlor guitar” and “new age Chet Atkins”, blending elements of blues, jazz and new age into his original arrangements of popular tunes and all original compositions. His eclectic, concert level performances are suitable for critical listening and/or ambience setting.
I have a small setup, requiring very little space. 1 (or 2) very small high quality speakers. I also have a battery powered system for situations where electricity is not available.
