What to expect
I offer ambient music to support any celebration. I typically arrive 30 minutes to an hour before I am asked to play, and do my best to not only communicate and select music my clients prefer, but also asses the need of the moment. I am quite flexible, and can always add an extra song here or there, or cut one short.

Hello!
My name is Joanna.
When I was a child, my dad built a harp for my sister and I, and I’ve been playing ever since. I would be honored to add a special touch of live music to your celebration, a wedding, holiday party, banquet, memorial or church service. I play a variety of genres, Traditional, Sacred, Celtic, Classical, Pop and Folk.
Additional booking notes
For most venues, I do not require amplification. My harp is not loud, but the sound generally resonates and fills a room quite well. For very large events, a microphone on a stand may be necessary. For outside events, I need the harp to be sheltered from sun and rain.

Influences and inspiration
I was raised in church singing sacred hymns, choruses and Scripture songs, so many songs from my growing up years are included in my general repertoire, unless otherwise requested. I also love many Classical, Celtic and folk tunes, and have been influenced by groups such as Celtic Women, Charlotte Church and the Italian Tenors.
