This vendor provides virtual services
Harpist for weddings, banquets, and events.
I offer a wide variety of genres, including jazz, folk, pop, or classical, and am open to requests. Music has high standing with people, and a favorite song can often carry more weight than 1, 000 words. So let me know if you have specific ones you would like me to play, and I'll do my best!
I hired Joanna to play harp at my beach wedding on August 2nd, and she went above and beyond to make sure that the music was beautiful. We spoke beforehand several times so she could pick and learn repertoire that I wanted, she arrived on time to the venue, and was flexible with the last minute changes we threw her way. She is a joy to work with and a great person to have behind the harp at any event, and having studied music extensively, is a high-quality harpist. I highly recommend booking her services.

What to Expect
Because each person is unique and has different tastes, my job is to provide each person with their own taste in music. I've worked on many different genres, continually expanding my repertoire and skills in each of them so that when you want jazz, or classical, or Celtic, or pop, or something I haven't heard of yet I can give you excellent examples of each.
For years I wanted to play the harp, and, unlike many little girls with a similar dream, mine came true! From my first rental harp to my very own pedal harp, I've loved the challenge of mastering technique, difficult music, and stepping out the box. But it's not always been easy. The days come when I would rather do anything than practice, and despair over my seemingly meagre progress. But everything of value requires hard work and hard work involves discipline and diligence. So press on I did! And am doing.
Pressing on currently finds me studying music performance at Cedarville University, with great plans of starting my own YouTube channel (check), and supporting myself by playing gigs, while also creating unique arrangements of songs for the harp. One of my favorite things to do is find a song that I love and create an arrangement or transcription of it by ear. It's tedious sometimes, challenging, but worth every second, for the reward at the end is great. My dream is to create playable, beautiful arrangements for solo harp and harp ensemble, and eventually create my own music that will fill a need somewhere and fill the world with a little more beauty.
Additional Booking Notes
If I'm playing in a big open space for a large audience, a mic is great.
If I'm playing outside on the grass somewhere, a 5x5' board is great for me to set up on.
If your event is more than 20 miles away from me, I charge 50 cents/mile from my starting point to your venue.

Influences & Inspiration
Amy Turk has had a huge impact on my creative side as a harpist. I'm amazed by her talent for making an unlikely song work well and sound fantastic. Her attention to detail is admirable, and I'm inspired by her dedication.
My teachers and professors over the years have each played a special role in my musical training. I am so grateful for their patient teaching and guidance. Each one of them has shaped me into who I am as a musician and person today.
