Which styles of photography do you offer?

Traditional / classic (looking directly at the camera)
Candid (captured in the moment)
Artistic (focus on composition, lighting)
Natural/environmental (photographed in an outdoor setting)
High fashion (highlights style)

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Pricing varies, however we are glad work with you on your future project! If you sign up for our newsletter on our website, you will be locked in for updates, discounts, etc.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

1. Customer contacts us for a quote.
2. We then schedule a 30 min. consultation.
3. Client receives their official copy of our quote.
4. Client pays 10% to lock in the rate, and date of event (non-refundable).
5. Both Photographer and client signs mutual contract.
6. You are officially “booked” on our JLPW calendar.
7. We contact customer 24 hrs before event to make sure nothing has changed. If clients choose to cancel their booking, this is the best time so no other fees are incurred.
8. We shoot the event.
9. We go into “editing mode” & edit the photo works.
10. Client receives photo samples & proofs to review all.
11. Client receives invoice makes final payment of balance owed.
12. Client receives all photo works in its entirety.
13. Client receives “thank you” email & a 10% discount off their next event by signing up for our newsletter & referrals to new clients.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I currently have 14 years of professional photography experience, & I studied at the Art Institute for 2 years. Studied business at Gordon State College for 2 years before that.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I used to be a teen model, until I discovered the view from behind the camera. I never modeled again. My mentor who is a family friend & military vet, is also a photographer in South Carolina. He taught me a lot during my years modeling. I also worked in the photo lab at Walmart for 5 years.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Clients of different races, creeds, and backgrounds. From models, kids, to not so friendly clients. Clients, with a small budget, to large. I treat them all the same way. As a social butterfly, I can find my way around the world, because I’m well-traveled within the USA. Looking to expand my horizons, my experience has prepared me for that. Photos tell me a story. What type of story are you willing to portray is the real question?

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

A project I did with a male model at a location in downtown Atlanta. It was a “quick shoot” so it took less than an hour but it was very fun & my camera loved the “artsy” background. Photos came out great. My type of client, & location because he knew what look he wanted, & was on time & respectful, & we enjoyed ourselves.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Accuracy – Know what your looking to gain, and exactly what you want (every detail counts) Budget – Know how much you’re willing to spend be very precise Communication – If there is something wrong, we’re willing to fix it if you tell us! Professionalism – Be stern & respectful, as we will do the same NO EXCEPTIONS!
