Julia Kelly is a fast skilled, fast caricature artist with theme-park training and experience serving all of San Diego County. Julia Kelly has drawn caricatures for Legoland California, Ralphs, The Knot magazine, weddings, school and corporate events, fundraisers, parties and ordered commissions. You are guaranteed to be entertained when you hire her at your next event.
Attending a party and having the caricature artist not only do a poor job on capturing similarities in facial features and also exaggerate features to the point of offensiveness, but treats you like your inconveniencing their phone internet search can ruin a fun celebration. Wouldn’t recommend her ever. Bad attitude and bad art work.
Price Range: $100-150 per hour
At events, I draw:
15-20 Black and white heads per hour
12 black and white face and body
9 full color face and body
Themed body also available upon request (Star Wars, Disney princesses, etc).
I draw caricatures on 11x17 white paper on a small lap easel. I bring all of my own supplies.
Setup requirements: A well-lit area (or full shade if outdoors) and three folding chairs, one for me and two for those being drawn as often two people ask to be drawn in the same picture.
Extra services: I also offer to print your company, school or event logo on the bottom of each paper so that each drawing your guests take home will have your branding on it. For this service I charge $40 for black and white logo, $60 for full color.
I serve the whole of San Diego County from Oceanside to Chula Vista and everywhere in between. I will also travel to Irvine, Orange County, and Los Angeles, although additional travel costs may apply.
