We hired JJ Band to perform for a Mardi Gras themed corporate awards event. We were BEYOND impressed with the level of communication (before and after the event), professionalism displayed, and of course, the music itself. In fact, the most frequent comment we heard from our guests was wishing we had them play more during the event! The band sounded amazing and they were very easy to work with. We experienced audio issues during the event and the band immediately jumped into action and started playing, making the entire issue feel intentional rather than a tech blunder. If you're looking for a high quality group to play at your event, I cannot recommend them enough!

Dalton and his crew were amazing! Their jazz was smooth and fluid. It blended into the background and elevated when needed. Transitions were seamless. Our wedding ceremony was uplifted by their beat. As for communication and timeliness, it couldn't have been better. I highly recommend them. Book early. They're in demand.

What to expect
- Jazz tunes from midnight cling to burning swing- Let us know the vibe we should bring!
- We'll be sure to find out what the client wants us to prioritize
- We also perform Jazz arrangements of some oldies and the occasional Jazzed up pop song!
- We are good with Jazz requests and other requests!
Typically the customer will message me to start the conversation. We'll then schedule a quick call to go over specifics.
From there, I will issue a contract and take a 50% deposit to hold the date. Any questions and follow up calls are welcomed once the date is confirmed.
The balance is due on the day of the performance.
We come early, nicely dressed, and prepared to offer top level musicianship to all clients and audiences!

I would love to provide price quotes tiered for up to a 5-piece jazz band. That way, you can find the perfect balance for your budget and music entertainment needs.
Additional booking notes
We do require power for any keyboard or guitar players.
Most gigs we do are fully acoustic aside from guitar amps and piano speakers that are powered.
If the client wants us to all be on mics and mixed through a PA system, I clear that with the client and find out if there is a sound person to assist us with that or if we should find a sound person. If we are going to be mixed through a PA system, I will need to know where the system is and what connection type it runs through.
More often than not, we play acoustically or with some amplification through our own speakers/amps depending on the clients preferences.
