James is an incredible performer and I have had to the privilege of watching him play many venues during his time in New Orleans. He is a captivating saxophonist who has honed his craft through years of dedication and practice. When he plays his horn it’s like being transported to another world. Joyfully poignant notes played with an easy lilt that feels effortless and timeless. He can also hold his own on the keys and flute, often oscillating between different instruments during his gigs, which makes for an entertaining and exciting musical journey. James is a lovely singer with a dynamic vocal range. His tone is bright and captivating, punctuated by an underlying grit that can only be gained through tapping into one’s emotions and leaving it all on the stage. Overall, James is an excellent entertainer who is incredibly gifted. He is master jazz multi-instrumentalist and vocalist and would be a great addition to your venue or event!
