Jill Roberts is a Grammy® Nominated Music Educator, a four-time Art4Moore Grant Winner, a two-time Toyota Community Grant for the Performing Arts Winner, a VH1 National Save the Music Keys+Kids Winner and a Century Link Music Keyboard Lab Technology Grant Winner. She began playing the piano at the age of five and became deeply in love with the instrument. She received a piano performance scholarship and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from ETSU and graduate continuing education from Milligan University. She has taught chorus, general music, piano, ukulele and musical theatre for over 16 years- often taking groups to New York City to study in the theatre district. Her student choirs have taken the stage opening for headlining acts at Bristol’s Rhythm and Roots Reunion, Country Thunder at Bristol Motor Speedway, the Harlem Globetrotters and Dollywood Theme Park. She is the Middle School/High School Chorus instructor and the Fine Arts Coordinator at Providence Academy- a place she is sure she was divinely sent. She is a professional accompanist and the children’s director at her home church, Bunker Hill Christian in Bluff City, TN. She and her husband, AJ have four children, two cats and a whole church full of “Sprouts.”
