You can expect to receive all the supplies you will need to create custom buttons for your birthday party, child event, trade show or wedding. You will receive the equipment, accessories, instructions and delivery.
It was not the typical birthday present for a 9th birthday, as Jesse Murray opened his first business - Jesse Beaner’s Marketing & Design - founded January 1, 2013.
At age 5 Jesse had a paper route for over a year. At 7, he began inventing things he wanted to sell to his friends. At 9, as toys and games became more expensive than his allowance, it was time for real work.
At this same time in 2012, Pauline was approached with the task of sourcing out buttons for the 2013 Making Memories – a volunteer organization that sends 800 children free to a special performance of The Nutcracker. Jesse, Pauline and her company Thom & Associates Financial Planners (with partner Ken Thom) have been volunteering with Making Memories since its inception in 2009.
With the cost of conventional button ordering found to be way out of our non-profit’s price range, the conception of a small family business began to form.
Jesse Beaner’s Button Business (aka Jesse Beaner’s Marketing & Design) was born.
It started with a DIY kit, Jesse heading up manufacturing, Pauline in graphic design, Grandma Jean in sales, and Dad in training. After a few small orders through direct marketing, we landed our first large order of 500 custom magnetic buttons by mid February.
Now Jesse Beaner's has 2 button sizes available, 6 varieties of buttons to choose from and offers equipment rentals for business functions, trade shows and child oriented events.
Jesse Beaner’s has just celebrated it’s 1st birthday as Jesse celebrates his 10th and it is full steam ahead to another great year.
We offer free delivery within Kelowna city limits. Outside of Kelowna BC we ship next day with FEDEX. Please contact us for shipping charges if applicable.
