What to expect

Our motto is 'Underpromise and Overdeliver'.
We love what we do, and we love when you love what we do.
We're there early for set up, conduct a thorough soundcheck and ensure that our presence is optimal to the event's parameters.
We strive to balance that presence with filling the venue/performance space and giving you enough space to socialize.
The level of interaction can be modified, depending on the vibe.
In short, we're easy.

About

Kendra Lea and Ray Powers, affectionately known as Ray and Kay are a dynamic tandem established in 2022, celebrating a vast catalog of your favorite songs.

They'll take your requests in advance, perform encore sets and make your event an affair to remember.

Ray has been a touring professional since age 15, and has performed with over a dozen inductees of the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.
Trained on Classical piano at age 6, Ray also plays guitar and bass.
Taking the stage at NYC's Madison Square Garden was Ray's most memorable concert performance. Hailing from Brooklyn made it all the more fulfilling.

Kendra is Classically trained on violin and has been singing her entire adult life.
She has performed at T-Mobile Park and Climate Pledge Arena in her hometown of Seattle; and prior to pairing with Ray, was featured on a recent Warped Tour.

After meeting in 2022, the chemistry was instantaneous. They haven't slowed down or paused ever since.

Influences and inspiration

Kendra: I truly draw from so much; it seems impossible to narrow down my influences on just a select few.
I can tell you that I learned the most about vocal harmonies by listening to my parents' Simon and Garfunkel and Beach Boys records. Like so many other recording artists and performers, discovering The Beatles was invaluable to me.

Ray: My Dad was a vocalist, as well. He influenced me the most. After Dad, it would be Elvis, The Bee Gees, Def Leppard and most of Motown.
My favorite all time artist is Edgar Winter. His fusion of rock, country, funk and Blues is unfairly seamless.
