I am unique in my experiences and how I deliver my speech to the crowd. I also include physical activity (not much) as well as crowd participation with singing and mostly answering questions. I am also a published author of the autobiography From Stone to Bread. I am currently working on my second book which is a follow-up to significant parts in my first book.

What makes Jerome an expert on Overcoming Adversity?
Jerome has managed to beat the odds of growing up and living in poverty. Once having lived in a government subsidized housing project, Jerome totally destroyed the odds of succombing to living a life of crime and violence. At one point in time of Jerome's life, he sold guns as a way of making ends meet. Jerome grew up with both of his parents as well as his step father being herion addicts where he was shown only the low perils of living standards. When Jerome was a freshmen in college it was found out that Jerome had the reading level of a 7th grader which ultimately got him kicked out of school after his first semester in college. Once Jerome battled undergraduate school, he went further to pursue a Masters in Social Work. Learn what Jerome did to overcome the adversities that he faced and learn how to apply his simple principles to your own life adversities.
A Life of Overcoming Adversity
Originally from Chicago, IL, Jerome moved to Iowa in 1990 to pursue a degree in Psychology earning his Bachelors of Arts from the University of Dubuque in 1995. Jerome began his career in Social Services in 1991 working at a local residential treatment facility for youth. Jerome continues to work in Social Services as a Social Worker. After taking time away from school, Jerome returned to earn a Masters degree in Social Work from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, IA in 2008.
Jerome has given speeches at the high school level, college level and throughout the community. Jerome has finished writing an autobiography which has been published by American Book Publishing.
