1:33 PM, July 13, 1997, Wallace Thomson Hospital in Union, South Carolina. "Get your ass here now!" said my grandfather to my father, as a star was being born that beautiful afternoon. I imagine that you could hear the stress in my grandfather's voice as he yelled at my dad for not being present as my mother began going into labor. 4 hours later, I was already exercising my eyes, making life my own experience. My parents made me when they were still kids themselves, my mom was 15 when she had me, my dad was 16. I am currently 18, and without a child of my own, and to my family that's a blessing to have been able to skip the curse of young parenthood. Fortunately/unfortunately, my parents split up around the age of 3 for reasons not yet known. I am also the oldest of five younger siblings. 2 brothers by my mom, 2 brothers and a sister by my dad. My dad joined the military when I was about 9, and so I was mostly raised by my mother until the age of 13. In 2010, my dad was being stationed in Naples, Italy, and him already being away from home so much, we set it up so that I could move in with him there, so when I was 13 I moved to Europe. It was an experience of a lifetime. There I found my passion for poetry, and began recording songs my freshman year in high school self-taught. in 2013, I moved back to the U.S. and lived in Corpus Christ, Texas for the first semester of my junior year in high school, then transferred to San Diego, California to finish and eventually graduate high school. I am now back in Corpus Christi, working to achieve greatness.
