Jeremy Edwards

I have a variety of worship leading experience, but I also have a background in cross-cultural missionary experience. I served on staff with a college student ministry called Student mobilization in Kolkata, India for five years. During this time, our focus was cross cultural church planting. We sought to share the gospel with our friends in India in hopes that God would lead them to faith and if they did, we would seek to make disciples who make disciples. I was also in charge of our team's leadership and development. I created training programs and taught our team in various ways. I would love to expound further on these experiences! As for worship leading, I oversaw leading worship for our ministry while in college for 3 years. While on staff in India, I lead worship for our winter staff training. Since living in Omaha, I have consistently led worship with my home church as well as served in other churches when a need arose. I have been the Worship Arts Director for my church for the past year and a half. I have also written, produced, and published my own music on Spotify and apple music. (Under the name Jeremy Edwards) I have worked with and written with well-known producers in Nashville and have also worked with Ben Shafer here in Omaha. He has a worship music label called Harvester worship. I believe my combination of worship leading and cross-cultural church planting has given me a well-rounded approach to living out what it means to be a Spirit filled worship leader and I would be excited to contribute to your church’s mission!
