What to expect
A facilitator who builds the room, not just the talk.
When you book Jen, you're not getting a polished keynote delivered from behind a podium. You're getting a neuroscience-backed experience designed to meet your audience exactly where they are — in their stress, their patterns, and the stories they've been telling themselves on autopilot. People consistently walk out saying the content felt like it was built specifically for them. That's not a coincidence. It's the design.
Grounded in science, delivered like a real conversation
Jen's content draws from neuroscience, behavioral psychology, and NLP — but nothing about her delivery feels academic. She breaks down how the brain automates stress, reactivity, and self-doubt into language anyone can use, and she pairs it with active exercises that make the concepts stick long after the session ends. A university president who hosted her wrote that people still reference a single exercise she led — years later.
Built around your audience, not a script
Every session is customized. Jen researches your event, your audience, and the pressures they're carrying into the room — then builds accordingly. Whether it's a first responder training, a women's leadership conference, an athletic coaching convention, or a government agency workshop, she adjusts the language, the stories, and the exercises so the room never has to translate.
What your audience walks away with
✅ Practical tools for interrupting reactive patterns in real time
✅ Greater awareness of the stories and roles driving their stress
✅ Stronger communication under pressure
✅ A shift from performing to leading and permission to stop confusing the two
✅ Something they'll actually use Monday morning, not a feeling that fades by Friday
Signature talks include:
✨Unmasked: The Shift from Leading to Performing — what happens when we stop wearing the masks that kept us safe and start leading from who we actually are
✨The Drama Stops Here — the neuroscience behind why we stay stuck in reactive loops, the three roles that keep us exhausted, and how to break the cycle
✨The Imposter Advantage— why the voice that says "who am I to do this" might be the clearest sign you're exactly where you're supposed to be
Book Jen and give your audience something that changes how they show up — not another session they forget by lunch.
About
Educator, coach, and facilitator, Jen Hardy is the COO and Lead Trainer at the Academy of MotivAction™, a neuroscience-based professional development company serving first responders, educators, military support professionals, and high-stress teams across sectors.
Most professionals operating under pressure were never given tools for what actually breaks down first — not their skill set, but their communication, their emotional regulation, and their ability to lead themselves when things get loud. The C.A.R.E.S.™ framework, which Jen co-created, was built to close that gap. Grounded in neuroscience and behavioral science, CARES gives teams a practical, immediately applicable approach to Communication, Awareness, Resilience, Emotional Literacy, and Self-Mastery — not as theory, but as something they use the same day.
Jen's path to this work started in public education, where she spent years as a teacher and head coach of a historic UIL Central Texas state championship soccer team. She was effective in both roles — but found herself more interested in why people shut down under pressure than in the content she was teaching. That curiosity led her to neuroscience, behavioral science, and eventually to earning her credentials as a Trainer of Neuro-Linguistic Programming — one of the highest certifications in the field, qualifying her to train and certify other practitioners.
What sets Jen apart isn't just what she knows — it's what happens in the room when she facilitates. Participants across public safety, education, government, and corporate leadership consistently describe her sessions as the most relevant and immediately useful training they've received. A university president invited her back as commencement speaker. Soccer coaches call her sessions a turning point. First responders with twenty years on the job say they wish they'd had this training from day one. Across nearly 600 participants, 98% found her training directly relevant to their role, and every organization that provided formal feedback came back for more.
Jen's mission is straightforward: restore human connection in the places where people are under the most pressure and have the fewest tools for it and make sure they leave with something that actually works.
