December 11, 2023We hired Jeffrey to do a 15-minute roast for a celebration of a birthday (64 yrs) and retirement. He was very clear in communicating what information/details he needed from us, and he delivered an entertaining, personalized, and crowd-pleasing performance. We didn't want anything "blue" and he accommodated completely. He arrived 30 mins early to get the sense of the room, and didn't rush us at all when his start time was delayed a little. We were super pleased with the whole experience, and recommend him very highly.

I hold a very unique place in the comedy world. As a stand-up comedian who has performed in all the major clubs in NYC and LA I can work squeaky clean or not so clean, ... for up to 45 minutes! I was the main writer for the famous Friars Roasts for 12 years so I know how to do that.
I am also a red carpet host so I can arrange for a Roast if so desired, roasting family members or corporate colleagues, and write special comedy material geared towards your particular event if that is necessary. There is an additional expense for writing new material geared towards your personal event.
I can also arrange for one or more comedians to come and perform with me to do an hour show or even a 90 minute show if there is a budget for that.
People often refer to Jeffrey Gurian as a “Renaissance Man”, because he’s involved in so many things. He’s a comedian, comedy writer, director, author, producer, and radio personality, and not always in that order.
