Strong vocals and guitar with musical influences like Vince Gill, Chris Stapleton, Paul Rogers, The Eagles, and Keith Urban. Always flexible and focused on the client's needs, Jeff has played showcases, concert halls, corporate events, nightclubs, pubs, weddings, backyard parties, etc and has been a part of the music scene since 1982 as a singer, songwriter and performer. Performance includes country, beach, classic rock, alternative, and original music. He’s worked with artists like Steve Walsh (Kansas), Phil Vassar, Pat Torpe (Mr. Big), Chuck Wright (Quiet Riot), Jeff Nader (Wang Chung) to name a few.

Jeff arrived early and was set up and ready to go when guests arrived. He was able to read the crowd and provided the right mix of guitar and vocals so that the vibe was good and guests could still talk.

Jeff arrived early and set up immediately. Great assortment of music by various artists. Everyone commented on his unique voice. Keppp us all entertained for several hours with hardly a break in the music. Good times for everyone. We will be seeing him again next time.

We hosted about 75 folks at our house for a rehearsal dinner/gathering. We contacted Jeff Hilyer for back-ground music/ entertainment and were completely satisfied with his music itinerary, voice and general performance! We received many compliments throughout the evening from our guests. Jeff was courteous to all, came self contained with all equipment, and cleaned up completely when finished. We intend to ask Jeff to perform in the future and recommend him to others.

He’s been a part of the Georgia music scene since 1982 as a singer, songwriter, and performer and now resides in Tallahassee, FL.
As a solo performer, it's a steady flow of country, classic rock, alternative, and original music. A night's performance also features favorite original songs from other southern songwriters including Angie Aparo, Cyndi Thomson, Marvin Taylor, Brian Cole, Chip Martin, Dave Midkiff, and Phil Fontana.
Jeff uses a Taylor 714ce / Takamine acoustic/electric guitar, Digitech Vocalizer, ElectroVoice mics, Line 6 Guitar Amps, JBL EON Sound System, and ColorVerse LED Stage Lighting.
