The artists that JD covers range from Johnny Cash to Otis Redding to Bill Withers to Grateful Dead and more. The Marcher's goal is to make everyone feel good and for everyone to have a great time. Positivity goes a long way. While onstage, JD entertains with music and stories in between songs, during setbreaks JD interacts with patrons to make each listener feel special. JD typically makes promo videos/reels/posters for shows that are open to the public. Typically brings his own PA system that can handle most opportunities. His repertoire/background/love of music allows him to play from several genres to please the audience with quality and variety. JD is typically an hour early to the venue to ensure that setup goes smooth and puts on a fun all-ages classics-filled playlist while working the room or finishing setup or breakdown.

Graduating from Clemson University with a B.S. in Ag Mech and M.S. in Plant and Environmental Sciences, he gained a strong foundation in both his academic and personal pursuits, blending his rural heritage with a broader perspective.
