My show is a one-man band playing blues/rock Rural Americana music on homemade instruments. In my act I do not use any electronic looping, it’s all me. I sing, play a cigar box guitar, pound a parade drum and shake a tambourine. I sound like Tom Waits and RL Burnside’s little brother.

Hey Music Lovers,
Quickly, in 2018 I received a book on “How to Build Homemade Instruments”, instantly I was hooked. It took a while to figure how to play the cigar box guitar, since I have been a blues club drummer for most of my life.
As a drummer, highlights of my career were playing weekly at the Kingston Mines with Les Getrex, with Glenn Davis a bunch of times and my band the Organgrinder’s Blues band. I also was the house drummer for many jams along the IL/WI state line.
