Jay Silence

You can expect a high energy show with crowd engagement throughout and light-hearted attitude from the band as a whole. Many times, Jay will tell stories of how songs came about or keep the crowd engaged with questions. The band also chimes in at times and sometimes Jay even passes off the microphone to other players in the band to sing cover songs. Over-all a fun night of live music and dancing is what the JSB shoot for.

Jay Silence is an American Singer/Songwriter and Recording Artist from Colorado. Jay writes and records all of the songs you hear including albums Grandma's 45s and The Windsor Sessions, as well as many various singles like Singer In The Band and Drive (feat. Amanda Hawkins). The latest album set to release Summer of '24 is "Fly Me Away".

There have many talented musicians and friends that have recorded on the songs over the years and Jay has found a home recording at TBM Studios in Greeley, Colorado, with owner and sound engineer Eric Reid. Eric has produced and mixed many of the latest songs you hear starting with Daisy Dukes up to the present.

When playing live the Jay Silence Band has six primary musicians including Jay Silence on Lead Vocals/Acoustic Guitar, Tyler Schack on Lead Guitar, Russ Crossland on Guitar, Ronnie Blechman on Keys, Tim Goldsmith on Bass and Dave "Goose" Gussenbauer on Drums/Percussion.
