Jay $mooth and D.I.Ocis met senior year of high school in 1995. They discovered each other's love for music and began working together and formed a group called "A.M.A.B" (All Men About Business). Jay $mooth and D.I.Ocis started performing at open mic throughout their city and got a nice buzz. They began opening up for major artists such as: Trick Daddy, Goodie Mob, Master P., 8 Ball & MJG just to name a few. In 2000, Jay $mooth went solo and started an independent label name 2 Ton Music Group. Over a 20 year span, $mooth dropped 4 mixtapes and 2 albums. In 2020, D.I.Ocis and Jay $mooth reunited and merged A.M.A.B Entertainment and 2 Ton Music Group together. Now in 2023, both artists are working on new material and currently doing shows.
