Jawbone

Jawbone is the exciting party dance band you need for your wedding reception, corporate event, party or festival. This five member band from North East Texas plays dance music from Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, LMFAO, Florida Georgia Line, PSY, Black Eyed Peas, Journey, Maroon 5, to George Strait, Madonna, Elton John, Rush, Prince and Billy Idol. Jawbone brings their own stage, light show, laser, fog and haze machines, and play tunes from current Top 40 to the 50's. Jawbone's crowd interactive fun personalities will make your event a memorable experience for everyone. The center stage spotlight is on their lovely and talented female vocalist Lisa Childress, but there is something for everyone with all five members filling in on vocals. Guitars, drums, keyboards, synthesizers, saxophone, and electronic and acoustic percussion allow Jawbone to realistically cover almost any song.
Jawbone has performed in concert at the historic Perot Theatre, has performed for the American Cancer Society, for the American Heart Association in Texas and Arkansas, and is the headlining act for the Concert for the Kids benefitting St. Jude Children's Hospital.
Jawbone will tailor their extensive song list to fit your audience, and will pull from songs by Carrie Underwood, Daft Punk, AC/DC, Macklemore, Cee Lo Green, Gap Band, Katy Perry, Flo Rida, Adele, Jason Aldean, Rolling Stones, Gwen Stefani, Taio Cruz, Commodores, Village People, Tina Turner, Dwight Yoakam, KC and the Sunshine Band, Kid Rock, Tone Loc, Guns N Roses and the B-52's, as well as many others.
One more thing, Jawbone is a "real band." We are a group of five musicians and one sound and lighting technician that are all good friends, love playing music together, and love entertaining. We are not a random collection of union musicians that have never played together before, thrown together to cut costs and play a canned routine of songs. We rehearse on a regular basis to bring new material, and provide a setlist that is just what you want. Jawbone has years of road experience, has shared the stage with the likes of Steve Cropper from the Blues Brothers and Blues Traveler, and were voted best local band by the readers of Four States Living Magazine for the past several years in a row.
