Janna and Rob performs an eclectic mix of classics from the 60s-00s. We are a husband and wife duo who started making music together in the 90s. We love sharing chill vibes and positive energy through well-crafted songs. Publicly we play at summer concerts, bar crawls, breweries and wineries in the northern VA area.
Our full band, The B-Sides, plays classic jams from the 70s/80s/90s, adding Bruce Ryan on bass and Terry Burcham on drums. We play festivals and backyard parties-- love contributing to community and family-friendly gatherings!

Professional, casual, sophisticated, positive.
Quality vocals and musicianship.
We prefer to be in the background, though we are happy to introduce aspects of the event, if needed.

Our set list is old-school, classic jams. Late 50s-through the early/mid 2000s.
If you hire the full band (The B-Sides), we play classic jams from the 70s/80s/90s, typically playing festivals and family-friendly events, such as markets and First Fridays and First Thursday events. We also have a small sound system, contributing to the positive, upbeat energy, without overpowering the conversation/party!
Janna and Rob are a husband and wife duo who have been performing together in the DMV region for over two decades. We play classic tunes from various genres-- from the 60s-00s. Johnny Cash, Sheryl Crow, Grace Potter, Dusty Springfield, Tom Petty, Bananarama, Al Green, a small sample of the artists we cover! Both of us have a passion for well-constructed, melodic songs, and love sharing positive, chill vibes through our music! We can tuck into small spaces and are equally comfortable on stages. Best suited for small to mid-size gatherings.
Since we are a small act (duo) we can bring our own equipment. If lights are required, we would need someone to provide that.
