Janellemarie has been encouraging and teaching about the importance of empathy for 20 years. She has been a classroom teacher in underprivileged and underserved communities for 13 years, a personal life coach for 10 years, a professional development coordinator for 3 years, a high school dean for 2 years and a school administrator for 1 year. The importance of empathic relationships as the basis of a work or personal environment where individuals WANT to be, and in turn, are highly productive, is the purpose of Janellemarie Speaks.
The use of empathy was the first step in encouraging high schoolers and colleagues alike that were on the verge of giving up of their dreams and career goals,to encourage them to change their minds.
