What to expect

Words cannot express the passion I have for the music I sing. The era of music that I sing is not really common nowadays and I just want to show/remind the world how lovely these classic tunes are. If an audience came to see me, they would see a passionate young man singing and dancing around the room, setting a nice mood and spreading love & joy. My equipment is very up-to-date and is reliable for any venue regardless of size. I fit the role for my act; I sing '40s & '50s crooner music, therefore, I'm always in a tuxedo or suit. All in all, Jandro the Crooner makes sure everyone has a good time!

About

Don't let the beard fool you, I'm actually 17 years old. A lot of people wonder how a young guy my age gets into Sinatra-style music but it's because of my family. My act is very interactive; I'm always singing and looking at everyone in the crowd, moving around, and sometimes dancing (not as much now because of COVID). As a singer/entertainer, I always make sure to sing "Happy Birthday" to all the birthday people in the crowd. I love connecting with people and I love to sing, so my act is a combination of the two.

Set list

For a two hour gig, I'd have a set list of about 30 songs. I like to inform the crowd song facts such as who wrote the song, composers, original singer(s), etc.
A two hour gig for me:
30 minutes on
15 minute break
30 minutes on
15 minute break
30 minutes on
I can do longer gigs than two hours if needed but I prefer two hours.

Influences and inspiration

My main influences and inspirations are the great crooners such as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Nat King Cole, Tony Bennett, Andy Williams, Bobby Darin, Bing Crosby, Mel Tormé, Michael Bublé, etc. Another huge influence is my mentor who happens to be a well-known singer/entertainer in Hampton Roads, Frank Sings Frank. He's been mentoring me and even allowed me to sing with him on one of his shows.

Setup requirements

I'll take any stage given to me with a nearby outlet. My equipment is very compact and skinny, but powerful!
