February 17, 2020I booked James to play my wedding cocktail hour and first dance and he was perfect. First of all, his voice is next level. He can sing anything and make it sound beautiful. He also created a slowed down version of Vance Joy’s “mess is mine” and sent us an early sample so we could practice our dance to it. He really made our special day that much more memorable! Book him, he’s the best!

James Cavern is an American Singer/Songwriter. Born in Manchester, England James immigrated to the United States at the age of 14. He now resides in Sacramento, Ca.
James has always had an interest in music being brought up in the English school system. That upbringing has led to James having a wide appreciation for genres from that culture ranging from BritPop bands like Oasis, Blur to UK Garage music which was popular right before he moved.
After his move to the United States it wasn't until he was twenty-one would he begin to fully embrace his love for music and taught himself how to play guitar.
Since then he has been on multiple tours, played festivals, headlined shows and even managed an appearance on Season 6 of NBC's The Voice. James has ran with his love for music and has been gaining ground quickly since.
His most recent release "Lost & Found EP" has a balance of what he loves the most which is RnB. Along with hip/hop grooves and some driving rock, the EP is a balance of what James is influenced by and loves.
