Jakeb Daniel

Biography:
Jakeb Daniel is an artist and singer songwriter who was born in Port Hope and grew up in Cobourg, Ontario Canada. Stylistically his original music is a mix of indie, folk pop with lyrical influences of the great Americana song writers & poets. He is a prolific song writer that is proficient in multiple instruments (guitar, piano, bass, percussion and ukulele). He started playing guitar at the age of 7 and has been singing from an even earlier age. He is mostly ear trained & he his self taught on the piano. Jakeb has been performing in & around the Northumberland area from 2018 to present. Jakeb spent three years (from 2011 to 2014) at St. Lawrence College in Kingston, ON taking the ‘Music & Digital Media Authoring’ program, developing his practical and theoretical skills as a musician and creative artist. In 2016 he attended a semester at Metalworks Institute enrolled in the ‘Audio Production & Engineering’ program.
Presently, Jakeb is particularly excited and inspired by his newly formed duo & creative partnership with his talented good friend Shannon Linton. Whether it’s musically related or not; and, most of the time it is!
