You can expect a whole experience.

I like to start with an acoustic jazzy kind of song, friendly, let people get comfortable, get a drink, get situated, and I get their attention with vocal performance over jazz chords to a hip hop rhythm and a rockstar attitude. From there, I read the room.

I then proceed the set list according to crowd response. If people are really listening, I like to do more story telling songs- if people are more involved in socializing I go for more jam like music that you can really lean and/or rock to! I will perform the agreed time with minimal delays and we like to have a good time!

Born and raised in Denton Texas and doing music through orchestra and choir as a kid, Jake always communicated best from onstage! In early years he was mostly interested in alternative rock, RnB, and hip hop. Then there were phases of niches like punk rock and metal later, many projects, many shows, and many plot twists, but he never found his place until around 2014...
Jake moved to Austin and was signed by a small indie rap label as an RnB singer. Within weeks he had opened for Kevin Gates and within months numerous other acts and festivals making a name for himself in the DFW and Austin areas. But Jake still wasn’t happy, and a dispute at the label had freed him!
Then the 2nd prison detour happened. In February 2020 he was released, after meeting Snootie Wild on the inside and entering a management agreement. Jake took to YouTube with nothing but a cell phone and acoustic guitar and got to work! Covid slowed some things down, but in December 2020 Jake officially released his first post-incarceration single, Armageddon. Months later he finally played his first official gig at Horny Toad Cafe in Denton Texas with huge success! And things are picking up fast!

I have all of my own personal equipment but generally use home PAs. I will charge extra if I have to provide PA. Lighting and staging is minimal, unless y’all just really wanna go all out but I don’t know how to do any of that.
