Jake Burbs was born on October 18th, 1998 to parents Christopher and Denise Snyder. Jake grew up in Schererville, Indiana, a town that was part of a group towns in the Chicagoland area that carried over to Northwest Indiana known as "The Region". Jake was never good in school, and was diagnosed with ADHD. At a very young age, Jake became interested in words and was learning new words and their meanings daily. That interest turned into a passion for listening to music, maily Hip-Hop. Listening to rappers like Nas, Eminem, Tech N9ne, Ludacris, and various differernt lyrical artists, Jake fell in love with the art of lyricism. At the age of 10, he began writing music under the stage name Skripchurrz, and originally started off as a Christian Hip-Hop artist, as he was raised in Christian household. In 2010, he released a single entitled "The Only One", which completely flopped. With lots to improve on, he continued working on his craft, lyricism, and even went through quite a few stage name changes. in March of 2013, Jake changed his stage name to "WolfGang J". In June of 2013, Jake performed in front of his entire middle school with fellow childhood friend and aspiring Christian rap artist, Serius. Shortly after the end of his middle school year, Jake's life took a 180 degree turn. His father was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma, a form of Cancer that affects the body's lymph nodes. He struggled with extreme anxiety and depression, and was introduced into various different drugs and narcotics. He struggled even more in school and eventually distanced himself from his peers, hoping to find happiness in himself. Jake began a long journey of soul searching over the next year. He set new morals for himself to live by, focusing on things that really mattered to him such as personal relationships and music. He studied his religion extensively and decided against furthering his practice, as it seemed "too far-fetched" . He then began writing traditional rap. During the next year of his life, music became the only interest to Jake, and he began writing a lot more music. At his age, he did not have a job, which made studio visits rare, but in December of 2014, Jake dropped two singles entitled "Give It Up" and "Ain't No Way To Back Out", both if which went over well. By then, Jake became fully obsessed with lyricism. In then summer of 2015, he released a song entitled "Ima Real One", which went over very well, and Jake began to gain a small, local following. On Christmas of 2015, Jake released a song entitled "Adolescent" which went over just as well as "Ima Real One". Up until his next releases, Jake took time off from making music to focus on maturing as a person and an artist. He was hired at 2 jobs and eventually had money to pay for studio time. In September of 2016, Jake changed his name to "Jake Burbs". Since then, he has released 3 singles from his upcoming, debut project "cAged", which will be available for download on October 18th, 2017.
