My Approach: Technical Quality Meets Genuine Connection
Clients often tell me that working together feels relaxed, easy, and seamless. That’s intentional. When you’re on camera or hosting a major event, you shouldn't have to worry about whether the microphone is working or if the camera caught the right angle.

I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all video production. Whether I’m tucked in the background of a quiet wedding ceremony, conducting a comfortable talking-head interview on an active job site, or capturing the high-energy speeches at a real estate grand opening, my goal is simple: capture the genuine heart of the moment while making the process entirely stress-free for you.

Hi, I’m Stefanie, the owner and lead producer behind Jacobs Ladder Media.

My passion for media production started with a simple belief: every great moment—whether it’s a couple exchanging custom vows, a student mastering a trade, or a community coming together to celebrate a milestone—deserves to be remembered exactly as it felt.

With a background in instructional physics and music (songwriting, playing instruments & singing), I set out to build something of my own doing what I love - embracing the technical with the creative through audio and video production. I’ve built Jacobs Ladder Media through that technical precision, and aim to bring authentic storytelling to every project I produce.

My husband and I have been producing our original music together since 2018. We now bring our original music backing tracks to our videos, creating a custom sound not heard elsewhere. To us, considering our combined passion for music, the audio is just as important as the visual elements in the videos we produce.

Behind the scenes, I take a detail-oriented, multi-angle approach to every shoot:
Dual-Camera 4K Cinematography: Ensuring every look, reaction, and key visual is caught from multiple perspectives.
Obsessive Audio Quality: Great video means nothing if you can’t hear the vows or speeches clearly. I capture multi-source audio—from direct soundboard feeds to discreet wireless lavaliers and a pro-grade shotgun mic—so every word comes through with studio-grade clarity.
Invisible, Natural Execution: I focus on guiding people when needed for portraits and interviews, but stepping back to let organic moments happen naturally everywhere else.
