What to expect
An audience coming to see me experiences a warm, intimate, and emotionally present performance centered around piano and voice. Whether I’m performing solo or with an ensemble, the focus is always on musical connection, storytelling, and atmosphere. My solo piano and vocal sets feel personal and immersive, with a vocal style that blends classical clarity, jazz warmth, and modern piano-bar ease. The mood is romantic, soulful, and engaging, creating a space that feels both elevated and welcoming.
If a client hires me, they get a curated musical experience designed to fit their specific event. I offer flexible formats, from solo piano and vocals for more intimate settings, to my core band The Midnight Muses Band for higher-energy shows, to the Sundrop Rose Jazz Collective for events that call for something more expansive, lush, or tailored. The Collective allows me to build a custom ensemble of jazz and classical musicians to suit the size, style, and vision of the event, whether that means a string trio with piano and voice, a jazz quartet for a lounge, or a fuller group for a gala or special occasion.
From a planning standpoint, clients can expect clear communication, thoughtful preparation, and dependable execution. I work closely with each client to shape the flow of the evening, choosing repertoire, pacing, and instrumentation that support the mood they want to create. With formal training in piano and voice and a background in engineering, I bring both artistry and technical reliability to every performance, so the event sounds beautiful and runs smoothly.
Overall, clients receive a refined, flexible, and intentional live music experience that elevates their event while making the process easy and stress-free. Audiences leave feeling like they’ve been part of something special, personal, and memorable.
About
My purpose on this earth is to create music and to share it with others, in whatever ways I am able.
I started playing piano at the age of one (my mom is a pianist) and started formal violin lessons at the age of two. In the fourth grade, I had my first lead role singing on stage. Through my childhood I studied, performed, and competed in various piano, vocal (classical and theatre), and violin events.
I attended the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and obtained degrees in piano performance (chamber music concentration) and vocal performance (opera concentration) as well as Computer Engineering. There, I was incredibly lucky to study piano with Dr. Audrey Andrist and Dr. Daniel Pesca, and voice with Janice Jackson. During my time at UMBC, I fell in love with chamber and collaborative music, performing around the Baltimore area with various chamber ensembles and in various opera roles.
Right after college, I performed as a pianist with the Columbia Orchestra and as a freelance vocalist and pianist at prestigious venues throughout the DC/Baltimore area, including Merriweather Post Pavilion. In addition, I was honored to work as a computer engineer at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center supporting various projects including the James Webb Space Telescope.
I moved to the panhandle of Florida in 2024 and have become established as a highly sought-after vocalist, and a fixture in the local Florida Panhandle music scene, leveraging my expertise as a music director to lead several successful productions. In the summer of 2024 I started my Masters in Music at Berklee College of Music. In addition to graduate school, I am also a resident artist at SOWAL House. When not studying and practicing, I dedicate my creative energy to my jazz collective, Sundrop Rose, and The Midnight Muses band, a musical project I co-founded with the incredible Teresa Lombardi.
In this season of life, I’m looking for all kinds of opportunities - from playing Margaritaville at a beach bar to singing Sinatra at jazz brunch to performing chamber music in a concert hall.
If you think I would be right for your event, please reach out, and thank you for stopping by!
Additional booking notes
I provide keyboard and sound equipment as needed, but an on-site piano is preferred. Outdoor gigs must have some sort of cover in the event of inclement weather.
