Because everyone deserves some extra enchantment in their lives, Jack has experience tailoring magic to neurodivergent audiences.

What to expect
I take great pleasure in tailoring my performances to individual events. For example, walkaround closeup magic at a wedding reception or a birthday party hits notes of togetherness, celebration, and the power of community, often with a finale that culminates in a gift for the celebrant(s) whose magic has been added to over the course of the event by every guest who attended. Meanwhile, a stage performance to open a convention is a custom show themed to the shared interest of the convention-goer.
My magic is typically lighthearted and humorous, and never mean-spirited. While I generally don't perform specifically children‘s magic, my act is always suitable for all ages. My goal is always to lend a touch of “approachable weirdness” to make any event more memorable and magical.
About
Jack Miller’s brand of approachable weirdness brings smiles, laughs, and gasps to any occasion. You’d expect nothing less of a magician who has done command performances for:
- the British nobility! (true)
- the British government! (TECHNICALLY true)
- an ACTUAL PIRATE (well, he looked like a pirate anyway)
The whimsical chaos of his close-up and parlour magic has been described as “Gomez Addams meets Wile E. Coyote.” Jack has also spent years honing techniques to best capture the immediacy and awe of live, interactive magic in online performances, ideal for your virtual or livestreaming event.
In addition, because everyone could use some extra enchantment in their lives, Jack also has ample experience tailoring magic specifically to neurodivergent audiences.
NOTE: Guac is extra, but fire is cheerfully provided upon request. Wonder and delight are mandatory.
Additional booking notes
Technical requirements vary depending on the performance. For stage performances, at minimum there needs to be a PA and a sound technician who will either provide a stage mic / wireless mic, or be able to connect to my own wireless mic rig (XLR or 1/4-inch hookups). Generally if I have sound cues, I handle them myself. Lighting at minimum needs to be bright enough for the audience to be able to see details such as the value of a playing card.
For walkaround and close-up magic, the environment does need to be bright enough that people can see the magic happen, so please let me know if it’s likely to be very dim—I can often accommodate by bringing portable lighting if I know in advance.

Setup requirements
For stage: a PA if the audience is large enough to require amplification, and a microphone (preferably wireless) or a hookup for my own wireless mic system (XLR or 1/4-inch).
