September 11, 2025We had our daughter’s wedding reception in a barn! Okay, it was a nice barn (Wheeler Farms), but a barn nonetheless. When we were discussing what playlist to use during dinner, my niece suggested having her daughter, Jacie, play her harp. What a brilliant suggestion that turned out to be! I can guarantee that if we would have gone with the playlist, no one would have even noticed what songs were playing. We had Jacie playing as our guests entered and throughout dinner. And, her harp was noticed! She added such a beautiful elegance to the reception. We also were very pleased with her repertoire; perfect for a wedding reception. Jacie is young but good! We were so pleased with her that we asked her to play for my daughter’s reception in September, where we will mic her up again. And, yes, one harp is enough—as long as it is Jacie playing!
