Sometimes it takes a poet.

When you are sick or injured you go to doctor to heal of your pain and affliction.
When you are in trouble in a governmental jurisdiction, the law you make a call to an attorney to keep out of jail so you can sail free to live and to be. When your car breaks down you get a mechanic to fix your automobile so you can get back behind the wheel. But who do call on that can heal your heart, inspirit your soul and elevate your mind? Who can bring calm in trouble times? Sometimes it takes a poet.

It takes a poet to give words to speechless situations, to help raise a fallen nation. It takes poet to take phrases and paragraphs to transform them into poetry and prose. It takes poet to have the courage to step on people's figurative toes and deliver verbal blows. It takes a poet to make rhymes and rimes that bring about reason so simple and plan that can make even the insane become tame. It takes a poet to give a name to the nameless and skill to the game less. It takes a poet to see when others overlook. Sometimes it takes a poet to impart knowledge that does not always come in books of the so called wise. Sometimes it takes a poet to see through the lies not with physical eyes that need glasses to see black board in school classes. But a poet that uses the third eye that never shuts, but is always open wide to the truth that can give direction to the youth and legacy for the aged. It sometimes it takes a poet to help turn page of history and to bring substance to mysteries.

Sometimes it takes a poet to bring happiness, sadness, gladness and madness a mixture of emotions that stir and shake to make people to think and be able to tie links, latch and attach to lyrical logic that students can't learn in college.

Sometimes it takes a poet to be part prophet, preacher and even a performer that entertains, educates and trains brains to not only to think outside the box but to live outside the box because a poet job is to rock the boat and he gives hope to those who want and need it but judgement to those who refuse to receive it, the righteous words of the poet. Cause sometimes it just simple takes a poet.
