Before the Event:

We’ll hop on a short prep call to walk through your schedule, key announcements, and any VIPs or sponsors to highlight. That way, we’re completely synced up well before event day.

On Event Day:

I show up early to touch base with your team and the sound crew so timing is locked in. Once things get started, my job is to keep the room engaged, handle speaker introductions, and keep your schedule moving on time so you don't have to worry about the clock.

I'm J. Robert D’Angelo—a corporate emcee and event host based in the Greater Philadelphia area and available nationwide.

My background on the mic started in college radio and broadcasting, where I learned how to manage live timing and talk to an audience on the fly. Recently, I transferred these skills to hosting interactive live events and trivia on a weekly basis with H6 Trivia, building a style rooted in quick-witted crowd interaction, sharp timing, and reading the room in real time.

When I host a corporate conference, summit, or awards gala, my job is simple: take your schedule, keep the room’s energy high, and make sure everything runs on time from start to finish. Whether I'm introducing keynotes, recognizing sponsors, or keeping guests entertained during unscripted transitions, I will keep things moving smoothly without it feeling stiff or forced.

Mic: A good wireless handheld microphone connected to the venue’s sound system. Wireless is key so I can move around, work the room, and engage with the crowd.

Sound/AV: If we’re using walk-up music or audio cues for transitions, a standard AUX or Bluetooth connection at the sound board works great.

I’m completely comfortable coordinating with your event planner, venue staff, or sound crew to follow your run of show and make sure everything audio-wise runs smoothly.
