JOHN JEFFERY (J.J.) ROLLE
As a singer/songwriter, he has been the opening act for Dr. John, Arlo Guthrie and Ultravox's Midge Uhre. He also appears in the film The Trouble With Sex singing two of his original works. He also fronted two bands: a 7-pc. dance band called Cantaloupe! with several TV appearances to their credit as well as performing 5 years in a row at the Guinness International Jazz Festival and his own 6-pc. Soul/Funk/Jazz band, JJ's Soul Funkshun, one of the headline acts at the very 1st Guinness St. Patrick's Day Weekend Festival.
BERT MINGEA
played and taught guitar professionally from the age of 17 to 34 all over north Florida and south Georgia in contexts including blues, rock, pop and soul and has a degree in jazz studies from the University of North Florida. During that time he had the pleasure of working with members of Skynyrd, the Allman Bros, Mariah Carey's band and a number of different original and cover bands based in Jacksonville. He just moved to Valdosta, Ga after three years living in Boston, Ma and joined forces with J.J. to form the duo J & (link hidden)aying some of your favorite tunes from the '60s to the '00s with a few originals thrown in!
