I'll set up my easel in a way that people walking across can see me as I draw. There may be a camera to one side, but I always ask permission from all parties involved before recording.
The guests sit down in the chairs (2 of which I can provide) and they relax. I tend to switch between my focus on the drawing and engaging with your clients in a relaxed way. The experience is meant to be a simple, human interaction, and I use these interactions to interpret your guests' personalities as I'm drawing them.
Depending on the type of venue, I may play audience appropriate music.
After this, I show your clients the drawing, and the magic is done!
Hello! Since age 17, I went to school, got an associate's degree and went from job to job. At 23, I decided to be an artist. By 30, I was doing work as a face painter until a co-worker referred me to a caricature company. I stayed for about 2 years, until I formed my own company.
