The Island Time Steel Band can perform any genre, but our sound is heavily influenced by traditional Caribbean Island Music infused with the spirit and rhythm of Roots Reggae and Rock. Island Time Steel Band performs energetic instrumental music to get the party moving, and keep people on the dance floor. Alternately, the whole event can be completely relaxed so that your guests feel like they are on vacation. We want time to drift away, to bring you to your happy place. Gregg and Aaron can perform either as a soloists, or in their incredibly popular duo format using custom recorded bass and drum tracks to fill out the sound. Tell us you want to pump up the party and we'll bring our Bass player and drummer along! No other steel band does what we do, and our outstanding client reviews reflect the energy we bring to you during a performance. We specialize in creating a vibe, and maintaining the energy your events needs, whether laid back Yacht Rock, or upbeat Dancehall hits.
Your beach party isn't limited to purely acoustic music, by the way - we can rock a little harder with Gregg's nearly silent generator. This is an add-on option to be requested in advance.
