Hello,
My name is Chris Garner a local solo steel pan.
As a solo pan player I have performed for many styles of events bars such as The Old Key West Bar & Grill, & Tropix Beach, senior centers such as Inspired Living, businesses such as (link hidden)te Art Works, museums such as Marietta Museum of Art & Whimsy, Sarasota, FL, the Morean Arts Center in Saint Petersburg, private birthday parties, corporate events, casual events, Christmas events, churches and much more performing with backing tracks of various genres. Because of the pandemic, I also provide virtual performances.

Chris was a pleasure to work with. He arrived on time, was well prepared, and added the extra detail of wearing a tropical shirt in the same color as the wedding!

What to expect
When you book Island Soul Productions you will get a solo steel pan player who will provide you with a wide range of songs and styles. You will get a solo musician who will play the melody to a backing track, with most of the backing tracks made by Island Soul Productions. There usually is a set order in witch the songs are played but if asked to play certain songs, the set list will be adjusted.

Hello,
My name is Chris Garner and I am a local steel pan play in (link hidden)tersburg Florida. I have been playing for about four or five years now have experience playing at various locations as a solo steel pan act such as The Old Key West Bar & Grill, Inspiered Living, (link hidden)te Art Works, birthdays, the Marietta Museum of Art & Whimsy, Sarasota, FL , the Largo Public Libray and more. When choosing to hire me as a solo act, you can be insured to have fun time hearing not only the sound of the islands, but a variety of styles all played on the steel pan. I provide every thing needed to preform, from the sound system to the music. Yes, I play to backing tracks, but I makke most of my own, and they sound so good, you'd think I was playing with a real band.
Additional booking notes
The I way preform is based on the event size. If I play for a small event, say a birthday party or a small event with less than 50 people, I use a portable speak, my iPhone for backing tracks and sheet music. If I play for a larger event, I will use my PA system, my iPhone for backing tracks sheet music, and my mixer if needed. The only thing I require from the venue is an source to plug in speakers, a chair and a small table, other than that my performances are very laid back.
