I luckily found Isla McKay through a local band a few days prior to my mother's 75th birthday celebration. Isla is such a sweetheart and was excited to put together a perfect program for this special event for us which included her lovely Highlander Dancer daughters. We were only planning for a 2-3 songs and she decided to do 8. Talk about going above and beyond!!! She also spent time researching our "Cummings" family history and shared with us. My family was so touched by her beautiful music along with the lovely dance performances! My family is now planning another event with Isla this summer. We can't wait! Highly recommended! You will love this family!

Mid September 2025 we had a very important family gathering at my place in Ridgefield, Washington. I wanted to make this very special with a taste of my Celtic culture. I found Isla through a bagpiper association. She was very attentive to the needs of the gathering. I needed three specific songs beginning with a long entrance song coming up the long driveway. We had one rehearsal at the recommendation of Isla. As the bagpipes came within hearing distance, the crowd got very silent. The Pipers and snare were perfect and on queue. The entrance, the main song at the event, and the exit song were perfect. The Piper’s were on time and very easy to work with. My family was in awe of this performance. I highly recommend Isla for any of your future bagpiping needs.
