We had the pleasure of hosting Iselda, a remarkable belly dancer, at Prairie City Landing Senior Living Resort. Her performance not only captivated our residents but also left an lasting mark on our hearts.
The occasion was special as we had a Greek resident battling cancer, who expressed a heartfelt wish to witness a belly dancing performance on his birthday. Despite facing a sudden setback with another dancer's unavailability due to an accident, Iselda stepped in heroically, ensuring the planned show went on flawlessly.
Her dancing was infused with grace, passion, and a magnetic energy that resonated throughout the room. What truly set her apart was her innate ability to engage with our residents on a personal level. She gracefully traversed the space, ensuring everyone felt included in the enchanting show.
One of the most touching moments of the evening was when Iselda went out of her way to shower our birthday guest with extra attention, making his special day even more memorable amidst his challenging circumstances. Iselda generously spent an additional 30 minutes mingling with our residents at the end, posing for photos, and patiently answering their questions. Her gracious demeanor and willingness to connect on a personal level left a lasting impression on everyone. Her show was entirely appropriate for our senior community. Her choice of costumes was not only exquisite but also thoughtfully tasteful.
Iselda's belly dancing extravaganza was nothing short of spectacular. We wholeheartedly recommend Iselda to anyone seeking an unforgettable entertainment experience. She truly is a gem.

What to expect
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN A SHOW?
My show includes a performance to several songs and the use of props like veil, finger cymbals, sword, fan veils, LED wings, and more. The latter part of the show includes audience participation. I will work with you to create the perfect show for your event.
IS YOUR SHOW FAMILY FRIENDLY?
Definitely! I have performed at parties for guests of honor ranging from 6 to 96 years old!
CAN I TIP YOU?
Yes, money showers, money garland, or body tipping on the side of the hip, waist belt, or in the armbands is permitted. If you prefer a contactless method, you can use Venmo or Cash App
About
I am the studio manager at Thrive Movement Arts Pilates & Dance studio, entertainment director at Kasbah restaurant and perform regularly at Yianni's Bar & Grill, Junior Restaurant & Lounge, and Darna Hookah Lounge. I've performed in weddings, parties, and other family events throughout the Sacramento region and San Francisco Bay Area since 2015.
My dance training has led me to travel internationally to work with master instructors from throughout the Middle East.
My performance experiences have been extremely varied, including performing with traditional Arab music ensembles to touring rock bands, and from the California capitol steps to the TwitchCon convention stage.
My teaching experience includes group dance classes, private lessons, as well as specialized presentations and lectures for dance troupes and university classes.
I have also competed in national and international dance competitions and am a contributing writer for a dance website.
My formal education is in anthropology and music.
Additional booking notes
If performing to recorded music, I will need some way to connect to the sound system or provide the music ahead of time to the DJ. If you need me to bring a sound system, that can be provided for an additional fee. I have connections with Arabic musicians throughout Northern California, live music can be organized at an additional cost.
