About
ionSound was trained as a classical and marching percussionist from an early age, absorbing the cultural sounds and rhythms that resonated through the streets of his
hometown of Washington, DC. This global frequency permeates ionSound’s productions, percussion, and DJ sets, creating a sonic bridge across cultures and generations.
Fusing live percussion and instrumentation, ionSound and the ionSound Syndicate (full band experience) invoke ancient memories and awaken the Spirit, weaving rhythmic
and melodic traditions from around the world, with modern electronic music, and a synthesis of golden-era 90's classics.
