Four or five piece banjo, guitar, bass, marimba band with live sound included using Bose line array system and mixer. JBL 15's & stands available for large areas. Samples available, archive dot org - traditional and original folk music, a fair number of covers, and plenty of improvisation.
We are working toward having you submit an important song request of yours at least two weeks in advance of your date but we are not big request takers at this time.

June 3, 2025Intermittent Animals played at the annual Chadwick Arboretum Plant Sale Fundraiser for our Member's Night and provided the perfect atmosphere and music the event. The band was professional, easy to work with, and sounded amazing. They created a memorable evening for our customers and supporters. I would definitely hire this group again!

The band, Intermittent Animal, originated in late 1997 and has performed every year since in the Central Ohio area. The band often performs original folk, bluegrass, traditional folk, jazz, blues, and popular music in places like Rambling House, Comfest, mile 19 of the Columbus Marathon, and Woodlands. Expect the band to perform a full, wide-ranging selection of music with banjo, marimba, acoustic guitars, & bass.
