Indian Tabla Percussion

For our somewhat unconventional wedding in October 2026, we wanted cocktail-hour music that was a little unexpected. We had curated an eclectic, groove-forward Spotify playlist featuring everything from Khruangbin and Glass Beams to Talking Heads and the Grateful Dead, and invited Archit to accompany it with live tabla. He understood the assignment immediately, weaving his playing into our preselected tracks so seamlessly that the tabla felt like a natural part of every song. He brought an entirely new dimension to the music without ever overpowering it.

Archit was also a pleasure to work with throughout our event planning process. He thoughtfully reviewed our playlist in advance to make sure the selections would work well with tabla and coordinated directly with our production team to sort out all the technical and equipment needs ahead of time.

The result was exactly what we had envisioned: a unique, atmospheric, and effortlessly cool soundtrack to our cocktail hour. We couldn't recommend Archit more highly, especially for anyone looking to do something a little unconventional with live music!
