Ashley set up at my daughter’s birthday party and her face painting was a HUGE hit! The kids had so much fun and it was a great addition to her party. She was on time and so easy to work with! We can’t wait to have her back next year. Five stars and highly recommend!

Ashely was fabulous! We had her come out for my daughter’s fourth birthday party she painted roughly 10 little kids faces in about an hour and half! Each kids face paint was unique and amazing! Everyone LOVED her! She was so kind and patient! Very professional! We will definitely use Ashely again! I highly recommend her for your next eventn

Whether it’s a birthday party, festival, or community event, I bring an atmosphere full of joy, warmth, and connection.
If a client hired me, they’d get more than just beautiful face painting—they’d get a professional, reliable, and family-friendly artist who helps make their event run smoothly. I bring all of my own setup, including canopy, table, and supplies, for a completely hassle-free experience from start to finish. From setup to cleanup, I provide organization, enthusiasm, and a passion for creating lasting memories.

Hello!! I’m Ashley, the owner and artist behind In His Image Face Painting!
I’m a U.S. Army Veteran turned face painter. I have a beautiful family - my husband, 2 kids, and a yorkie dog! Originally from Michigan, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to travel all over — even living in Italy — which inspired my appreciation for art, culture, and community. Now based in East Tennessee, I treat every event like I am celebrating with my own family!
What started as a passion for Jesus, art, and community has grown into a business that serves churches, families, festivals, and a variety of other amazing events. My goal is to make every guest feel special! My policy is that every person (no matter the age) should get to experience being a unicorn for a day - or a superhero or dragon!
I use only professional-grade, skin-safe paints and maintain a fully self-contained, clean setup — so all you have to do is sit back and enjoy the fun!
When I’m not painting at birthday parties or local festivals, I’m usually out partnering with farms and markets to spread joy one face at a time. I feel so blessed to do what I love and can’t wait to make your next event unforgettable!
