The experience was, in a word, phenomenal! We hired "IHLA BLEU & The Shakers" and they absolutely knocked it out of the park. From our very first interaction with them during the booking process, they were just a dream to work with. Their communication was top-notch, always prompt and super helpful, which really put our minds at ease during all the wedding planning craziness. They sent over their song list well in advance, and even offered to DJ a couple of specific songs that were really special to the couple, which was such a lovely touch.

On the day itself, they arrived right on schedule, set up their equipment seamlessly without any fuss, and were incredibly professional and polite to everyone involved – the venue staff, the wedding planner, and all of us. They even did a quick sound check that was barely noticeable, ensuring everything would be perfect for the reception.

But the real magic started when they began to play. Oh my goodness, the energy they brought to the room was just infectious! Their sound was absolutely fantastic – crisp, clear, and perfectly balanced. The lead singer had an incredible voice, and the whole band was just so tight. They played a brilliant mix of classics and contemporary hits, perfectly catering to all age groups present. The dance floor was never empty, and that's exactly what we wanted! My aunt, who usually just sits and watches, was up there doing her signature moves, which tells you everything you need to know about how good they were at getting everyone involved.

Honestly, if you're ever looking for a band for an event, or if anyone you know is getting married, I cannot recommend "IHLA BLEU & The Shakers" highly enough. They didn't just play music; they created an unforgettable atmosphere and truly made the wedding reception feel like the most joyous party ever. We were absolutely thrilled with them!

Ihla Bleu and the Shakers played for our family’s wedding reception in May and we just loved them! They checked all the boxes… dressed nicely, played a wide variety of music instead of “All the same old songs” and took requests on breaks. They were friendly to our guests and the entertainment was perfect. We would hire them for any event again and do highly recommend them. We hired this band to play at my best friend's retirement party. They were very professional and played a wide variety of music. Surprised to hear old Motown hits, rock ballads, dance music and even a few current country rock songs. During their short breaks they played songs requested by the attendees. Everyone had a great time and we would definitely hire them again!

This Band showed up early to set up the equipment. They were polite and well dressed. They played a wide assortment of good music and did a fine job. They played d.j. style music on there breaks. We had a blast. Would hire again. Thank you for a great Party.
