IFC Management was founded by Ikiya F. Cade in 2013. Ikiya's passion for planning special events drove her to earn a degree in Hospitality Management. It also gave her the motivation to turn hard work into to a thriving event management company. She is dedicated to giving her clients the very best events with a focus on trust, dependability, and excellent customer service. During her years in college, she has been fortunate to be involved with high profile local events which include the Los Angeles Food & Wine Festival, Royal Court Luncheon for the Tournament of Roses, and the Southern California Tasting & Auction held at Cal Poly Pomona University.
Ikiya has gained hands-on experiences by working on multiple events throughout the years. Some of her career opportunities include interning at the Staples Center, assisting with events related to the Kings, Lakers, X Games, Cirque du Soleil, MTV Video Music Awards, among others. She worked for UCLA Conference Services as an event manager. Here, she managed 15 national and international conferences with revenues exceeding $500,000. She has also partnered up with non-profit organizations like An Empowered Woman and Breaking into Hollywood to coordinate events that includes an annual film festival as well as monthly workshops.
These experiences not only developed her leadership skills but have taught her about the flexibility and adaptability necessary when coordinating events of all sizes. Her energetic yet positive personality allows her to work well with others while displaying a hard work ethic and professional demeanor. In addition to being detail oriented, she is an excellent communicator. She discerns what the customer wants and delivers with ease. All her clients praise her for her engagement, enthusiasm, respect, and professionalism.
